My Favorite Paintings - SOLD

This past Saturday "Autumn Aspens" sold. This is truly one of the paintings that I will miss so much. It's kind of bitter sweet when selling a loved painting .... happy that someone else loved it enough to purchase it, happy for the sale, sad to see it go.

One of my all time favorites that I sold to a gallery a couple of years ago is "Memories of Autumns Past." I still think about it all the time and have a full-size framed print in my office that is on a wall that I can see from my desk.

Last but not least, I will always miss "Autumn Field." It was sold a few weeks ago. I have always considered it my signature painting.

The Watering Hole - SOLD

16" x 20" on Ampersand Pastelbord, Mount Visions, Paul deMarrias Pastels, and Giraults

Hi Everybody,Last Friday after work I took a different way home and hit the mother-load of landscapes to take pictures of. It was like being in another world. It's beautiful where I live, but just 2 miles from my house there is a place that is even more breathtaking. I took 85 pictures.
I came up on this gorgeous field, and my imagination filled in the rest by putting in the watering hole. So, half came from a photo and half came from imagination.

It's a big one at 16"x20" and will be going down to the Redstreake Gallery next weekend. Mount Visions, some absolutely gorgeous soft buttery Paul deMarrias pastels, and Giraults, on Ampersand Pastelbord. I hope you like it.

Across the Highway - SOLD

I was driving home Friday afternoon after work and saw this scene. The sun was just peeking down on this patch of bushes on top of a ridge above the highway. The mountains in the background were in the clouds and getting rain. I just happened to turn my head at the right moment to see it. It was like fall and summer all at once. There were beautiful greens, oranges, pinks, the blues of the mountains behind...lovely scene.

7" x 5 1/2" on Uart 600 grit paper, Mt. Visions.
