Plein Air #6

It was another absolutely beautiful day here in TN. Linda and I went to a spot where there are hundreds of potential paintings waiting to be painted. We loved it so much we want to go back there next week if the weather cooperates.

12x12 on Ampersand Pastelbord.

The water is crooked. I wasn't standing on level ground.

*****Review of My Latest Workshop*****

Included in the material I give out at my workshops is an Evaluation Form for each student to fill out anonymously. This is one of many I received from a recent workshop.

=======================================
"I was amazed at how much was accomplished in this 1-day workshop. Paula's organization of materials, teaching style, knowledge of the subject matter, artistic expertise, and passion for sharing her art all worked together to make this a powerfully valuable workshop. It was a gift and privilege to participate - very inspirational. Thank you!!"

It is my students who make every
workshop an amazing experience!!

Plein Air #1

The first time I went out to do plein air painting, it was a beautiful morning and the sunshine lit the ground and danced around the trees. This is the piece that resulted. 8"x10" on Ampersand Pastelbord.

Sunshine Fields

One more for today... 5"x7" on Ampersand Pastelbord. A warm up to a much bigger piece.

Quietly Walking SOLD

I love those crisp, overcast, quiet fall days, strolling slowly down a country road where there is no traffic, and no noise except the occasional rustle of the leaves. Can't you just smell the cold fresh air? There is a mist in the air and the anticipation of a light snow....
