WOW am I rusty!!
I haven't painted in a couple of months and boy am I rusty. I felt as though I had forgotten how to paint!! This one will remain untitled, 12x12. Or, maybe I should call it "The Dud."
It's always interesting to see what an artist creates after a long period of not painting. But you needn't fear that your special style has changed or diminished... this is beautiful! I think you should call it Old Friends, or Turning Seasons, or something about your return to your artwork! I'm looking forward to seeing more!

In the Mountains West of Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States
"Landscapes are my chosen subject because I have always been amazed at the way nature arranges its compositions into scenes that capture my heart, my imagination, and stay in my memories. My paintings become keepsakes of the places from my journeys and they represent happy times and come from the memories of fresh mountain breezes, fragrant wild flowers, and the changing seasons. As the historian records past events, so shall I record the ever changing landscapes of our time and leave souvenirs for all to be reminded of the places visited in our travels.” Paula Ann Ford
I see beautiful landscapes through the eyes of a child...pure, innocent, loving, peaceful, breathtaking. The places I create are free of fear and harm and are places to sit, dream, contemplate, and smell the fresh air. These places are made for you to lay out a blanket and just daydream the day away, or just walk through with no cares. There is only love in them because love created them. With love, Paula P.S. That is my little baby Peanut. She is 21 years old. On June 20, 2012, my baby Peanut went to Heaven. RIP baby girl. I love you.

INSPIRATION
The inspiration for my paintings comes from the beautiful landscapes of the United States that are being destroyed by sprawl. My hope is to make people aware of the needless destruction of land and if it continues, this world is going to be nothing but an ugly, dead, concrete jungle. So please let us have a complete restoration of America. Please don't pave one more beautiful pasture. Please don't cut down on more tree. Please don't build another building - No More Land Development until the Restoration of the EXISTING is complete. Please stop urban sprawl and save our land. PLEASE!
For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul. (Judy Garland)
Let us have a complete restoration of American. PLEASE don't pave one more beautiful pasture. PLEASE don't cut down one more tree. PLEASE don't build another building...until the restoration of the existing is complete.
